According to Taiwan media reports, the newest coming Apple iPad3 will be released in the fourth quarter, with five or six times of iPad 2 screen resolution, up to 2560×1920. Currently, the resolution of iPad is 1024 × 768.
The resolution is the screen image precision, which means the monitor can display the number of pixels. Since the point, lines and surfaces on the screen are composed of pixels, it means the more pixels the monitor can display, more detailed picture for ipad screen replacement, and the same screen area can display more information. So the resolution is a very important performance indicators.
The first generation of Apple iPad and iPad 2 is with the same resolution, 1024 × 768. Someone in the industry thought that Apple iPad 2 will use higher resolution Retina to display before it is released. But Apple finally did not make such final changes.
